Gun fired during attempted robbery in Brooklyn, 2 suspects sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Sunday released surveillance footage of two suspects sought in an attempted gunpoint robbery that occurred last December in Brooklyn.

At approximately 5:35 p.m. on Wednesday December, 21, 2022 a suspect approached a 47-year-old man at gunpoint and demanded his property in front of 534 Vandalia Ave. in East New York, officials said.

Around was discharged from the suspect's firearm after a brief struggle in before he then fled westbound on Elton Street by foot, cops said.

According to police, the suspect was initially brought to the location in a red Dodge Charger that another unknown male was driving.

The victim did not sustain any injuries and did not have his property taken in the incident.

The first suspect was last seen wearing a white jacket and gray sweatpants.

The second suspect was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt , blue sweatpants and black sandals.
