Cops searching for man who stuck up Brooklyn Checkers drive-through at gunpoint

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a man who robbed a Checkers fast food restaurant drive-through worker at gunpoint last week.

The unidentified man pulled up on a bike to the drive-through window at the Checkers  on Pennsylvania Avenue near Linden Boulevard in East New York around 7:20 p.m. on Feb. 22, according to officials.

He brandished a gun and demanded money from the cash register, officials said.

The cashier reportedly complied, and the man fled with about $183.

No one was injured during the robbery.
