NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A driver struck and injured a 6-year-old in Brooklyn on Thursday and fled the scene, police said.
The child was in the crosswalk at 68th Street and 13th Avenue in Dyker Heights around 8 a.m. when the driver of a 2017 Lexus hit them while making a left turn, according to police.
The kid was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
The driver fled and was still being sought Thursday afternoon.
