NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD on Thursday released surveillance footage of a man and an SUV that seriously injured a 5-year-old girl in a Bronx hit-and-run crash last week.
At approximately 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, a 5-year-old girl was walking westbound on East Gun Hill Road crossing Paulding Avenue in Williamsbridge when she was struck by a blue Honda CRV, driven by an unknown man traveling eastbound on Gunhill Road making a left onto Paulding Avenue, officials said.
The victim was seriously injured and EMS transported her to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle fled northbound on Pauling Avenue to parts unknown.
The vehicle is a blue 2012 Honda CRV last seen bearing New York State license plate #HFZ 3545 and a silver metal grille guard at the time of the incident.
