NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was shot and wounded outside a high-rise building in Chelsea on Sunday night, police said Monday as they searched for the shooter.
The victim was shot in the leg shortly after 9 p.m. at 167 West 25th St.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are unclear, but police said a gunman in a green hoodie opened fire and ran off.
The victim was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and is expected to survive.
No arrests were reported as the search for the suspect continued.
