NEW YORK (WCBS 880) — A human skull was found on Monday outside a Queens home, according to the NYPD.
Police officials confirmed the remains were located in front of a home on Pine Grove Street in Jamaica. The discovery was made around 9:30 a.m.
It is unclear if there were any other remains besides the skull found outside of the home, and police did not say how the remains got there.
The city's medical examiner responded to the scene and confirmed the skull was human, according to police.
The New York Post reports the medical examiner noted the skull showed no signs of trauma.
Police did not provide any further details.
