NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An art gallery in Manhattan plans to exhibit Hunter Biden’s work next year, according to a report.
George Bergès Gallery in SoHo will be representing President-elect Joe Biden's 50-year-old son as an artist and showcasing his work, the New York Post reported, citing sources familiar with the matter.
In an interview with the New York Times in February, the younger Biden said he had begun to focus seriously on his artwork, noting that painting was “literally keeping me sane” and “puts my energy toward something positive.”
“I was addicted to crack for four years. I went through a really long period of addiction and I was at a point where I didn’t read, write, think,” he said. “I don’t do things halfway. That can be a problem.”
“For years, I wouldn’t call myself an artist,” he added. “Now I feel comfortable saying it.”
Hunter Biden creates his “blown ink abstractions” in an art studio at his Hollywood Hills home, the Post reported.
