NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Up-and-coming New York City indie filmmakers Blü Gengo and Lucie Reese stopped by "Entertainers with Shelley Wade" and discussed their belief that to tell great stories, you must get out there in real life and live a life worth talking about.
Their new film "Leather Flowers" is a "love letter" to Italian grandmothers, or nonnas. It follows an Italian grandmother who agrees to attend her granddaughter's rock concert, reminding her of her long-lost dreams and "forcing her to confront the woman she left behind to become the perfect Nonna."
