NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Jeffrey Epstein's Upper East Side townhouse has sold for nearly $50 million, according to a report.
A yet-to be-disclosed buyer purchased the home on East 71st Street for "a little under $50 million," an attorney for the late financier's estate, Bennet Moskowitz, said at a court hearing Wednesday, the New York Post reported.
The home hit the market with an $88 million price tag last July.
Wednesday's hearing was related to a civil suit filed by an anonymous woman who claims Epstein sexually abused her when she was a teenager, the outlet reported.
Money from the townhouse's sale will go to the convicted sex offender's victims via a compensation fund, Moskowitz said.
Epstein died by suicide inside a Manhattan jail in August 2019.
His onetime confidante, Ghislaine Maxwell, is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn on charges that she recruited girls for Epstein to sexually abuse.
