NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Jennifer Lopez announced she is canceling her "This is Me....Live" U.S. tour.
Live Nation representatives on Friday said that Lopez "is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends."
Lopez also put the following statement out to her fans:
"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time..."
The Bronx-born singer and actress was supposed to kick off her tour in Orlando on June 26.
Cancelled dates include her Aug. 9 show at UBS Arena in Elmont, Aug. 10 at the Prudential Center in Newark and her show at Madison Square Garden on Aug. 16.
Anyone that bought tickets through Ticketmaster will automatically be refunded.
