NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police on Monday released surveillance footage of a man and woman wanted for locking a Total Wireless worker in the bathroom during a Bronx knifepoint robbery last month.
It happened just after 6 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, when the two entered a cell phone store located at East 204th Street in Norwood.
According to officials, one of the suspects displayed a knife toward a 28-year-old employee while stealing approximately $150 and keys from his pockets.
The duo then proceeded to lock the victim in the bathroom before stealing multiple cell phones and approximately $2,425 from the cash register, authorities said.
The suspects fled the location on foot, traveling westbound on East 204th Street.
There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.
Police describe the first suspect as a male last seen wearing a blue surgical mask, white jacket with green designs, black sweatpants, and red and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a female last seen wearing black sunglasses, a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and black sneakers.
