Lancaster, NY (WBEN) During his first town board meeting as Lancaster Supervisor, Ronald Ruffino expressed his unhappiness over a last minute decision to not give a $5,000 stipend to him as budget officer.
Ruffino says the stipend was always there until Dino Fudoli took it out, and Johanna Coleman put it back in for the final year of her term.
But despite the denial, Ruffino says he'll continue to do his best. "I put in 14 hour days already, I'm excited and thrilled about this job. It's going to be non stop for me. I already have the morale up among employees, and that's more important than the money," says Ruffino.
