Sanitation worker arrested after allegedly assaulting co-worker during dispute on LES

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested a New York City sanitation worker early Monday after he allegedly assaulted a co-worker following a dispute on the Lower East Side, authorities said.

According to police, 41-year-old Brett Cohen shoved a female colleague to the ground during an argument at a sanitation garage located on South S Street near Clinton Street at about 2 a.m.

Cohen is facing an assault charge and was also issued a desk appearance ticket to appear in court at a later date.
