NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after several human body parts were found on the Long Island Expressway in Queens Saturday afternoon.
Cops responded at around 3:30 p.m. once they received a report of a person on the eastbound roadway, near Exit 23.
According to authorities, police identified the body parts as male.
EMS responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene and his identity remains unknown at this time.
Police said no arrests have been made.
All eastbound lanes on the LIE were temporarily closed at Exit 22A as police investigated the finding.
