NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after a broad daylight shooting in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
According to the NYPD, it occurred around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of East 183rd Street and Hughes Avenue in Belmont. Upon arrival, responding officers discovered the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
There have not made been any arrests made no description of the shooter has been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
