NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is investigating after a young man was gunned down inside a Queens building lobby Monday afternoon.
At approximately 4:40 p.m. police responded to a 911 of a male shot in the vicinity of 209-30 86th Drive in Queens Village.
Upon arrival, officers observed a man with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.
He was later identified as 20-year-old Ikechukwu Onodu.
EMS transported Onodu to North Shore Manhasset Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
