NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A man was critically injured in a slashing outside of a bowling alley on the Lower East Side early Monday morning, police said.
The attack happened at approximately 1:40 a.m. outside the Gutter L.E.S. bowling alley on Essex Street near Delancey Street.
According to officials, a 21-year-old man was slashed in the neck and stabbed in the torso by three men.
The attackers fled south on Essex Street.
The victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition.
It is unclear what led up to the incident.
There have been no arrests made and an investigation remains ongoing.
