NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man outside his home in Chelsea Wednesday night.
At approximately 9: 20 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of 431 West 17th St.
Upon arrival, officers observed Raqiese Cohen unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the neck.
EMS transported Cohen to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made at this time and an investigation is active and ongoing.
The deadly shooting came the same night a 30-year-old man was fatally shot in Midtown.
