NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 24-year-old man died after he was shot twice in the Bronx Wednesday night, the NYPD said.
Police responding to a 911 call around 10:55 p.m. found Dandre Johnson at the corner of East 149th Street and Concord Avenue, near St. Mary's Park in Mott Haven, with gunshot wounds to his back and arm, the department said.
Johnson, who lived in the neighborhood, was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No one had been arrested in connection with his death as of Thursday morning, the NYPD said. An investigation is ongoing.
