NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 24-year-old man was shot and killed near Fort Greene Park in Brooklyn early Saturday morning, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, was shot at the Whitman Houses in Fort Greene shortly before 12:30 a.m.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the man in front of a building on Cumberland Walk, near Myrtle Avenue.
Police said the man had been shot multiple times in the torso. He was transported to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been reported. An investigation is ongoing.
