NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 24-year-old man was shot and killed inside a downtown Brooklyn apartment early Friday morning, police said.
The man, who has not been identified, was found shot by officers responding to a 911 call at the Farragut Houses around 12:50 a.m.
Police said the man was discovered unconscious in an apartment at the housing complex on Nassau Street. He had been shot once in the torso.
EMS rushed the man to Brooklyn Hospital, but he did not survive.
Police said no arrests have been made and that an investigation is ongoing.
The NYPD hasn't said what may have led to the shooting or if the man lived at the building.
