NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot in East Harlem on Friday night, police said.
The victim, Shaquell Gainey, was found by responding officers with a gunshot wound to his chest in front of 2251 1st Avenue around 11 p.m., police said.
EMS transported Gainey to NYC Health & Hospital/Harlem where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
