NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot at a Brooklyn intersection Monday night, police said.
Cops said officers responded to a 911 call of a male shot at Newport Street and Bristol Street in Brownsville at 6:35 p.m.
Upon arrival, the victim, later identified as Kerwin James, was found shot in the chest.
James was transported to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Police said there were no arrests at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
