NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 25-year-old man was shot and killed as he sat inside a car in Queens early Friday morning, police said.
Officers responding to a 911 call found the victim in the front passenger seat of a silver Chevy Malibu at Woodhaven Boulevard and Myrtle Avenue in Glendale around 12:45 a.m.
The man had been shot in the chest. He was rushed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has not been identified.

The gunman was driving a black sedan with New Jersey plates and had pulled up alongside the Malibu before opening fire, police said.
The driver of the Malibu was not injured.
No arrests have been reported and an investigation is ongoing.
