NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – Police have opened an investigation after a man was fatally stabbed in Harlem early Sunday morning.

At 2:02 a.m. police responded to a 911 call reporting a man stabbed at West 134th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr Boulevard, police said.


Once on the scene police found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed twice in the torso and had a laceration to his face, according to the NYPD.

EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem where he late succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead, officials said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
