NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 30-year-old Bronx man shot his wife in the foot before turning the gun on himself early Saturday, police said.

Cops were called to the couple’s home on Marion Avenue near E. 198th Street in Bedford Park around 2:30 a.m.
Responding officers found the man with a gunshot wound to his head and his 31-year-old wife with a gunshot wound in her right foot.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene while his wife was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where she is in stable condition, officials said.
The couple’s identities were not immediately released and the investigation is ongoing.
