Man, 31, arrested for pepper spraying unruly 15-year-old boy in Manhattan subway station

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 31-year-old Queens man was arrested for pepper spraying a rowdy 15-year-old boy in Midtown subway station on Tuesday, according to police.

The child and a friend were reportedly tossing items at people as they walked by in the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station around 9:45 a.m., according to officials. Alex Goddard, 31, got in an argument with the children over their behavior.

Goddard proceeded to pepper spray the boy in the face, according to authorities.

Police arrested Goddard and charged him with reckless endangerment, assault and unlawful possession of a noxious matter.

His victim reportedly refused medical attention at the scene.
