NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 32-year-old man was fatally shot in the head on a street in Inwood on Monday morning, police said.
The deadly gunfire erupted around 5:50 a.m. at West 206th Street and 10th Avenue, just south of the 207th Street 1-line station.
The victim was shot multiple times in the face and chest, police said.
EMS transported him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem, where he was pronounced dead. He hasn't yet been identified.
It wasn't immediately clear if he was the target of the shooting or a bystander. A second potential victim was also found in the area, police said.
No arrests had been reported Monday as the investigation continued.
