NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is investigating the shooting death of a man in Brooklyn early Thursday, authorities said.
At approximately 1:40 a.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot in front of 794 New Lots Ave. in East New York, officials said.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old Cody Toledo with a gun shot wound to the chest.
Toledo was transported to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
There have been no arrests made and the investigation remains ongoing.
