NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD is investigating after a 33-year-old man was shot to death in Crown Heights on Wednesday afternoon.
At about 5:45 p.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a man shot on McKeever Place.
Responding officers discovered a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head, and shell casings were recovered from the scene, police said.
The victim was transported to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unclear, but police are searching for two men who fled on foot toward Franklin Avenue.
