NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are investigating after a man was wounded in a shooting following a dispute on a Manhattan street on Tuesday evening, authorities said.
According to officials, just before 8 p.m., at least three men got into an argument near the corner of West 33rd Street and Broadway in Koreatown.
One of the people involved in the dispute then pulled out a gun and fired a shot, striking a 33-year-old man in the left leg, the NYPD said.
The gunman fled in an unknown direction, cops said.
The victim was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals / Bellevue in stable condition.
One person involved in the fight was taken into custody. Charges against the person were still pending late Tuesday.
An investigation remains ongoing.
