NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a gunman wanted in the fatal shooting of a man in Brooklyn on Monday morning, authorities said.

Police responded to 911 calls of a male shot in the vicinity of Pennsylvania Avenue and Stanley Avenue in East New York at approximately 8:15 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 36-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, in the rear of 889 Sheffield Ave.

EMS transported the victim to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Officials have not released the victim's identity.
There are no arrests, and the investigation remains ongoing.
