NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is looking to identify a man accused of slashing another man in the face aboard a Midtown train following an argument earlier this week.
At about 11:50 p.m. on Monday, July 5, the 37-year-old victim was onboard the southbound 7 train at 42 Street and Grand Central station when he had a verbal dispute over loud music with the suspect, police said.
That's when authorities said the suspect pulled out a knife and slashed the victim in the face causing a laceration above his mouth and nose.
The suspect exited the train at 42 Street and Grand Central to parts unknown.
The victim was taken to NYC Health & Hospitals/Cornell in stable condition.
Police describe the suspect as a man approximately in his mid 20's, 5'7" tall, 175lbs, with black hair.
He was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved hoodie with white lettering on the left side, black sweatpants, and black and white sneakers, possibly Jordans.
