
NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A 37-year-old victim was fatally stabbed at a Brooklyn bar early Sunday, the NYPD said.
Police responded to Catch 22 bar, located at 7221 Third Ave. in Bay Ridge, at 2:52 a.m. and found the victim with a stab wound to the torso.
Medical personnel also responded and transported the 37-year-old to NYU Langone Hospital-Brooklyn where he was pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity will be released after his family is properly notified.
According to police data, this is the first murder in the 68th Precinct, which includes Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights, this year.
There have been no arrests and the homicide investigation is ongoing.
