NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man was taken into custody after his 38-year-old roommate was discovered dead inside their Brooklyn apartment Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
Just before 3 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of an injured man inside of an apartment at a residential building located at 159 Bay 29th St. in Bath Beach.
Upon arrival, officers observed Phill Cayenne inside of the apaprtment unconscious and unresponsive, with bruising to his neck.
EMS pronounced Cayenne dead on scene.
Cayenne's roommate was taken into police custody.
The Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death and an investigation remains ongoing.
