Man, 41, stabbed in his arm on 2 train in the Bronx: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — A man was stabbed on a subway train in the Bronx on Wednesday afternoon and police are investigating.

The stabbing happened on a southbound 2 train at the Jackson Avenue subway station in the Melrose section at about 3 p.m.

Police responded and found a 41-year-old man with multiple stab wounds to his right arm.

EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.

There has yet to be word about a suspect.

There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
