NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — Police are searching for a group of suspects accused of beating and robbing a man on an Upper East Side subway train last month, authorities said.
At approximately 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, a 43-year-old man was approached by a group of six suspects on the southbound 4 Train.
According to officials, the suspects repeatedly punched and kicked the victim, causing bruising and pain before stealing his cellphone, wallet, Apple MacBook, keys, $350, debit card, and credit cards.
The suspects fled the location on foot to parts unknown. The victim sustained minor injuries but was not hospitalized.
