NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was attacked outside a Bronx supermarket by an assailant wielding a metal object, police said Thursday.
The NYPD released images of the suspect they're searching for in the Dec. 15 assault outside the grocery store at 124 West Fordham Rd. in University Heights.
The 45-year-old victim was in front of the business when his attacker stormed up and bashed him in the head with the metal object, police said.
It's unclear if the two men were in some sort of disagreement at the time.

The assailant fled on foot and was last seen headed south on Loring Place, according to police.
The victim was treated at the scene by EMS.
