NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 46-year-old man was found dead in front of a Washington Heights New York City Housing Authority building on Friday night, police said.
Authorities responded to a call of a man shot in front of one of the NYCHA Polo Grounds apartment buildings on 155th St. and Frederick Douglas Blvd. just before midnight.
Responding officers found the victim unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to his torso and leg, cops said.
The victim was taken to Harlem Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Officials have not released the victim's name.
