NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A 47-year-old man was fatally stabbed in a Brooklyn apartment, police said Monday as detectives reportedly questioned his girlfriend in the case.
The victim, who hasn't yet been identified, was pronounced dead NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull after being rushed there around 4:15 p.m. Sunday from the apartment in Bushwick.
NYPD officers had responded to a 911 call from 123 Melrose St., where they found the victim with a stab wound to the torso.
A person of interest was taken into custody but has not been charged.
That person being questioned is believed to be the 29-year-old girlfriend of the victim, the Daily News reported.
A knife was reportedly recovered in the kitchen of the apartment.
