NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A couple was charged after a 47-year-old man was stabbed during a dispute inside a subway station in Brooklyn early Wednesday, according to police.

Officials said at around 4 a.m., the victim was heading down an escalator near the A, C lines at the Broadway Junction station in East New York when 28-year-old Jareill Finely and 25-year-old Alasha Landall blocked his way and didn't allow him to pass.

An argument ensued and the victim was then stabbed in the stomach by Finely, the NYPD said.

The victim was transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police charged Finely with assault and criminal possession of a weapon and Landall faces an assault charge.
