LLOYD HARBOR, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- A woman's body was found floating in the Long Island Sound on Monday evening, Suffolk County police said as they investigate her death.
Officers responded around 7:45 p.m. to a 911 call about the body, which was in the waters off Lloyd Harbor Road in Lloyd Harbor, according to police.
The body was recovered and taken to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, which is working to identify her and determine her cause of death.
