NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- The NYPD is searching for a gunman after a man was shot and killed inside a Brooklyn NYCHA housing complex Thursday night, authorities said.
At approximately 9:25 p.m., police responded to a 911 call of a male shot inside the Red Hook Houses located at 131 Lorraine St. in Red Hook.
Upon arrival, officers observed 49-year-old Jason Andrades unconscious and unresponsive, with a gunshot wound to the left leg.
EMS transported Andrades to New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where he was subsequently pronounced deceased. There are no arrests at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
