NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — Police are searching for a gunman who shot and killed a 54-year-old man in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.
Officers responded to an assault in progress at 751 Monroe St., near Patchen Avenue, just before 4 p.m.
Upon arrival, police were told that a 54-year-old man was shot in the chest.
He was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
