NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A Bronx bus rider was stabbed in the head with a screwdriver Monday by a man who didn't like that he was playing "air drums" in his seat, police said.

The 60-year-old victim was air drumming—or playing imaginary drums with his hands—on a Bx22 bus around 2 p.m. near East Fordham Road and Marion Avenue in Fordham Heights when he was attacked.

Another man disapproved of his air drumming, so he stabbed him in the head with a screwdriver, police said.

The victim was treated at St. Barnabas Hospital and later released.

The suspect fled the bus and remained at large Tuesday.
