NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) – A man was fatally stabbed in the neck outside a Williamsburg bar on Saturday morning, police said.
Laurence Hopkins, 61, of Bedford-Stuyvesant, was attacked at around 1:08 a.m. outside of 140 Graham St. in Williamsburg, police said.
The address is home to the Privilege Lounge, open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.
Officers responded to a report of an assault in progress at the address, and found Hopkins with a stab wound to his neck.
EMS rushed Hopkins to NYC Health + Hospitals/Woodhull, though he could not be saved.
The circumstances around the stabbing were not immediately clear.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
