It happened at about 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 26, aboard a southbound Q train approaching the Jay Street-MetroTech station, officials said.

The suspect allegedly became engaged in a verbal dispute with a 20-year-old passenger before pulling out a revolver, pointing it at the victim and chasing him off the train, which had stopped.

Police said that the suspect returned to the train and rode it to DeKalb Avenue where he exited and fled to parts unknown.

No injuries were reported in connection to this incident.
