NEW YORK (1010 WINS/WCBS 880) — The NYPD on Monday released a photo of two men accused of beating a man with a stick then robbing him in the Bronx last week.
It happened at approximately 1:20 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, in the vicinity of Bergen Avenue and East 149th Street in Mott Haven, cops said.
According to police, a 62-year-old man was approached by the two suspects who struck him in the head with a stick and stole cash from his pants pocket.
The suspects then fled the location on foot, traveling to parts unknown.
EMS transported the victim to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
