
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man was stabbed to death on Saturday afternoon at a Manhattan non-profit housing facility, authorities said.

The 62-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released, was found with stab wounds to his torso around 2 p.m. at The Christopher, a shelter on West 24th Street in Chelsea, police said.
The victim was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Sources told the Daily News that the man’s 59-year-old roommate was taken into custody for the stabbing. A weapon was also recovered at the scene, cops said.
The Christopher has 207 permanent housing units for low-income and formerly homeless people, as well as for people living with HIV/AIDS, according to their website.
