Authorities said the incident happened at 11:30 a.m. as the victim was waiting on the platform and was suddenly pushed onto the southbound A/C track.

The train did not come into contact with the man, and A/C service was delayed as emergency personnel responded, officials said.

Police said the victim was transported to New York-Presbyterian Hospital and is expected to recover.

The suspect, who is described as a man last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, fled in an unknown direction.

The incident comes a week after a 40-year-old woman was fatally shoved in front of a train at the Times Square station. The alleged culprit has since been charged with murder.
